Sweet and Spicy BBQ Bliss Burger

Ingredients:

For the burger patties:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of pepper jack or Monterey Jack cheese

For the Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce:

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste for desired spice level)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

For assembling the burger:

  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced pineapple rings (fresh or canned)
  • Sliced jalapeños
  • Red onion slices
  • Optional: Crispy bacon slices

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce:
    • In a small saucepan, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, hot sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt.
