Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chilled whole milk (or skim, or plant-based)
  • ½ cup chilled plain yogurt (full-fat, low-fat, Greek, plant-based or strawberry flavored)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces strawberries (100 g, sliced and frozen)
  • ½ cup blueberries (frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup or agave nectar)

Instructions

  • Add the frozen berries to the large jar of a high-speed blender.
  • If your blender is not high-power, then thaw the frozen berries for 10 minutes for easy blending.
  • Add milk, yogurt, vanilla extract, and honey to the jar.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Add some more milk if the smoothie is thick for your liking. Check for sweetness and add some more honey if needed.
  • Pour into 2 serving glasses. Garnish with some more berries and a sprig of mint and serve chilled.
