Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Fries

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag of frozen French fries or seasoned fries
  • 1 pound beef steak (such as ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone or American cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sliced mushrooms, sliced jalapeños, hot sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package.
  2. Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake them in the preheated oven until they are crispy and golden brown.
  3. While the fries are baking, prepare the Philly cheesesteak mixture. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the thinly sliced beef steak until it’s cooked through. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the cooked steak from the skillet and set it aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the sliced bell pepper and onion until they are softened and slightly caramelized. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to an ovenproof dish or a serving platter.
  6. Spread the cooked beef steak over the hot fries.
  7. Top the steak with the sautéed bell pepper and onion mixture.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded provolone or American cheese over the loaded fries and steak.
  9. Return the loaded Philly Cheesesteak Fries to the oven for a few minutes, just until the cheese has melted and starts to bubble.
  10. Serve the Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Fries immediately while they’re hot and enjoy the flavors reminiscent of a classic Philly cheesesteak!

These Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Fries are packed with savory steak, melted cheese, and sautéed vegetables atop crispy fries. Customize the toppings according to your preferences for an authentic Philly cheesesteak experience. Enjoy your delicious and satisfying loaded fries!
