Instructions:

- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Sprinkle cornmeal or flour on a pizza peel or baking sheet to prevent sticking. Transfer the rolled-out dough onto the peel or baking sheet.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese or vegan cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange the assorted fresh vegetables over the pizza, creating a colorful and flavorful medley.
- Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the vegetables. Season with salt, pepper, and dried oregano or Italian seasoning to taste.
- Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven. If using a pizza stone, slide the pizza onto the hot stone. Otherwise, place the baking sheet with the pizza in the oven.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown, the cheese is melted (if using), and the vegetables are cooked to your liking.
- Once done, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves for added aroma and freshness.
