Crispy Smoked Paprika Steak Fries

Ingredients:

  • 4 large russet potatoes, washed and dried
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the washed and dried russet potatoes into thick steak fries, around 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme. Mix well to create the seasoning mixture.
  4. Place the steak fries in a large mixing bowl. Pour the seasoned olive oil mixture over the fries and toss until they are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the seasoned steak fries on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, making sure they’re not crowded.
  6. Season the fries with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes or until the fries are crispy and golden brown. Flip them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  8. Once done, remove the fries from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish.
  9. Optionally, garnish the Crispy Smoked Paprika Steak Fries with chopped fresh parsley for added color and flavor.
  10. Serve the steak fries hot as a delectable side dish or a flavorful snack.

These steak fries are packed with smoky paprika flavor, offering a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Adjust the seasoning to suit your taste preferences and enjoy these delicious, aromatic fries!
