Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie

INGREDIENTS  

  • pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1-1/2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/3 cup low fat plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons agave
  • 1/2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • blueberries , pomegranate arils and mint, for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Pour pomegranate juice in an ice cube tray and freeze. We will need 10 ice cubes for this recipe.
  • Combine raspberries, blueberries, pomegranate ice cubes, yogurt, milk, agave and vanilla in a blender; process until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste for sweetness and adjust accordingly.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish with blueberries, pomegranate arils and mint.
  • Serve.
