Bacon Jam, Egg, and Cheddar Brioche Bun

Ingredients:

  • 4 brioche buns, split and toasted
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup bacon jam (store-bought or homemade)
  • Butter for frying eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the bacon jam if you’re making it from scratch or use store-bought bacon jam.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt a little butter. Crack the eggs into the skillet and fry them to your preferred doneness (sunny-side-up, over-easy, or scrambled). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. While the eggs are cooking, split the brioche buns and toast them until they’re golden brown.
  4. Once the buns are toasted, spread a generous amount of bacon jam on the bottom half of each bun.
  5. Place a portion of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the bacon jam.
  6. When the eggs are done cooking, place one egg on each bun bottom over the cheese layer.
  7. Top each sandwich with the other half of the brioche bun.
  8. Serve your bacon jam, egg, and cheddar brioche bun sandwiches immediately and enjoy!
