Amyloplast

Colourless plastid that stores starch, abundant in tubers, endosperm and cotyledons. Root-cap amyloplasts (statoliths) also help gravity sensing.

Leucoplasts include amyloplasts (starch), elaioplasts (oil) and aleuroplasts (protein).
