Instructions:

- In a slow cooker or a large pot, combine the pork shoulder (or pork butt), chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the BBQ sauce and chicken or beef broth. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Cook the pork on low heat for 6-8 hours in a slow cooker or 3-4 hours on the stovetop until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- Once the pork is cooked, shred it using two forks right in the slow cooker or pot, mixing it with the flavorful sauce.
